Así luce la ex tenista Jelena Dokic que perdió 57 kilos en 11 meses

Después de una depresión la ex tenista Jelena Dokic trabajó en su cuerpo y alimentación: bajó 57 kilos de peso en 11 meses.

Jelena Dokic una de las tenistas más famosas a nivel internacional, después de una crisis en su carrera y en su vida personal, ha impresionado a más de una persona, pues en tan sólo 11 meses bajó 57 kilos y recuperó su figura atlética.

La tenista es reconocida en el mundo deportivo tras alcanzar la semifinal del torneo de Wimbledon en 2012. Ocupando con ello el cuarto puesto del ranking WTA.

A pesar de que su carrera subía como espuma, en 2014 tuvo que parar tras sufrir una lesión. 

Años más tarde rompió el silencio sobre problemas que enfrentaba en su vida personal. Confesó que su padre la sometió con abusos psicológicos y físicos que le hicieron no triunfar en el deporte.

Lo anterior se vio reflejado en una fuerte depresión que provocó el aumento de peso.

No era saludable pero lo que era más importante, era muy infeliz y no tenía confianza en mí misma. No quería salir de casa e incluso rechacé oportunidades de trabajo porque era muy insegura e infeliz”, explicó en marzo para medios internacionales.

Progress!!!???????? I thought I would brave the judgment,negativity and scrutiny that sometimes comes with being in the public eye and on social media and put myself and my struggles out there and hopefully inspire,motivate and help others,especially women. Al verse así se sometió a una estricta dieta y a ejercicio físico que le permitió recuperar una figura atlética. En 11 meses perdió 57 kilos. Ahora en Instagram presume con orgullo su logro.

Al respecto, en entrevista para el medio The Sun explicó que no sólo se trata de bajar de peso sino de cambiar hábitos alimenticios y retomar un buen estilo de vida.

No se trata sólo de perder peso, sino de tener un estilo de vida saludable y equilibrado y desarrollar hábitos saludables pero sostenibles para el resto de tu vida”, explicó Jelena Dokic.

Transformation!!! This a 6 month progress before and after photo. Over 30 kgs lost and I am half way. My journey continues and I am very happy with what I have been able to achieve so far but there is still a lot of work to be done. I know that getting down to my optimal weight and losing the rest of the weight won’t be easy and it will get tougher from here as I get closer to my goal weight but I am extremely motivated and confident as I know I have @jennycraigausnz by my side and supporting me all the way.
