Un terremoto de magnitud 6.5 se sintió este martes el estado de Idaho, al oeste de Estados Unidos, sin que al momento se reporten víctimas o grandes daños materiales. El sismo, que se sintió a lo largo del estado, se registró al final de la tarde y duró entre 20 y 30 segundos, según testigos.

Por su parte, el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS) indicó que el epicentro se ubicó en una remota región montañosa al noreste de la capital Boise.

"La casa se sacudió, los muebles del patio se movieron, quedé mareada. Duró casi un minuto", escribió una residente, Teresa Stephens, en respuesta al tuit informativo del USGS sobre el temblor.
