The Game Awards es, como lo dice su nombre, un evento para premiar los mejores videojuegos del año. Sin embargo, esta celebración gamer también es conocida por las presentaciones de algunos juegos esperados.
Para el show de este año, que será celebrado el 6 de diciembre en el Teatro Microsoft en Los Ángeles, se dice que títulos como la remasterización de Crash Team Racing o un nuevo Splinter Cell serán anunciados.

Crash Team Racing
El equipo de Activision ha dado pistas sobre la remasterización del juego de carreras de Crash Bandicoot enviando dados de peluche a los influencers que estarán presentes en el evento.

Splinter Cell
El organizador del evento, Geoff Keighley, compartió en Twitter un adelanto del evento en el que claramente aparece Sam Fisher, el personaje principal de la saga de juegos de espinaje Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

Dragon Age 4
BioWare aprovecharía la ceremonia para presentar el nuevo Dragon Age, sin embargo, algunos aseguran que el juego tardaría tres años para salir al mercado.
Square Enix’s Marvel Avengers
Desde hace tiempo el estudio Square Enix dijo estar trabajando en un videojuego de Avengers. Los hermanos Russo, directores de Infinity War, tendrán una presentación especial durante el evento en la que se espera que anuncien oficialmente el nuevo juego de los súperheroes de Marvel.

The Last of Us: Part 2
Muchos esperaban un nuevo avance sobre el esperado juego de PlayStation, sin embargo, el estudio Naughty Dog confirmó que no estarán presentes en The Game Awards.

Superman
El supuesto juego de Superman desarrollado por Rocksteady parece ser una mentira. El estudio confirmó que no están trabajando en un título del Hombre de Acero y que además no estarán presentes en el evento.
