La CONCACAF nombró este miércoles a lo mejor del año 2016, en lo que respecta a la zona, en donde destacan el costarricense Bryan Ruíz y la estadunidense Alex Morgan, como los mejores jugadores, además de que el silbante mexicano César Ramos fue elegido como el mejor de la confederación.
También fueron premiados los mejores porteros, entrenadores y el equipo con el mejor desempeño. Asimismo, el tanto de Jesús Manuel Corona, ante Venezuela, en la Copa América Centenario, fue elegido como el mejor gol del pasado 2016.
Cabe señalar que el pasado 9 de enero, ya se había dado a conocer un conteo de lo mejor de la zona, sin embargo éste fue basado en la opinión de los aficionados; lo único que fue puesto a votación para esta segunda entrega, fue la elección del XI ideal.
